Types of SEND The Acorns provide for
Definition of SEND: A learning difficulty or disability which means that the child has significantly greater difficulty in
learning than the majority of children of his/her age, and/or has a disability that prevents or hinders his/her use of
everyday educational facilities.
The Acorns cater for the four key areas of SEND as stipulated in the Code Of Practice (2014).
