Wrap Around Care (Paid for Before & After School Club)

To ensure we are providing what our families need, we operate a very successful ‘Before and After School Club’ in the Studio Hall each day for pupils from Reception to Year 6. Miss Griffiths and Mr Walker run the Club and it is held in our Studio Hall, which can be accessed from the car park, for ease of drop off and pick up outside of the normal school day hours. 

The club opens at 7:30am until 8:50am each morning. At 8:15am the children are accompanied to the main school hall to meet other pupils attending Greggs Breakfast Club, where they are provided with breakfast & a drink and are then escorted to their classrooms by the staff.

The after school club starts at 3.15pm and finishes at 6.00pm. Whilst at the club, the children are able to join in with a wide range of activities, they can also play outside with a range of sports equipment. The club also has a quiet area where children can ‘chill out’, read a book, watch a DVD or play on the computer. The children are provided with a snack and drinks.

There is a cost for this provision, which we strive to keep as low as possible so that as many families as possible are able to access it. Places must be booked and paid for in advance and we recommend you do this as soon as possible, as we regularly run at full capacity.  

Before School Club:

Arrival between 7:30am & 8:20am - £3

8:20am onward: to support us in achieveing our vision of 'A World Class Start to Life', we offer a free, healthy breakfast, courtesy of the Greggs Foundation, in the hall every day.

No booking required. At Greggs Breakfast, the children are provided with a variety of cereals, toast, yogurts, fresh fruit, and a drink and have the opportunity to chat to friends, take part in quiet activities at their tables or listen to music. For many of our pupils, this has proven to be a positive start to their day and has led to improved attendance and increased concentration and engagement on arrival in class. As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

After School Club:

Collection between end of school & 4:15pm - £3

Collection between 4:15pm & 5:15pm - £6

Collection between 5:15pm & 6pm - £9
